Building on the success of Investor Source as an online tool for putting fund managers and marketers in touch with potential investors, MEET THE MANAGERS provides the opportunity for informal, face to face networking.
Investor Source’s MEET THE MANAGERS events are entirely independent, and are designed to allow investors and managers to get together to discuss the benefits of investing in different asset classes – hedge funds, real estate & infrastructure and private equity.
Fund managers are encouraged to give presentations on the fundamentals of investing in their specific asset class, covering the basic challenges and opportunities for both the experienced and inexperienced investor.
Designed not just as a pitch from individual fund managers (one of the biggest complaints we’ve heard about similar events in the market), Investor Source’s MEET THE MANAGERS events take place over a morning, in a central London location and focus on being an educational, open discussion where questions from investors can be put to the panel and answered in an informal setting.
The networking time over coffee after the presentations and the panel Q & A session offers the opportunity for investors to ask specific questions about individual manager’s products where suitable.
As Investor Source has generated genuine long-standing investor relationships through its online database, the MEET THE MANAGERS events help to create initial investor relations opportunities with an audience of receptive investors.
